"Having completed the workshops five years ago I still keep contact with Daina, Paul and Dan regularly. They are all just as supportive and helpful today as they were then. A highly professional group-Thanks again guys."

Thank you Voice Spot WCS! I started classes with the intention of doing narration and I am now actively working.  The opportunity to learn from people who actually do the work is exceptional and Dan and Paul’s insights into their professional world really helped me move forward in this business.  I have the “tool box” and I know how to use it!

I love the workshops here - very professional, great information and super friendly, approachable people.

Weekend Voice-Over Introduction...

To say I had a great time would be an understatement. In fact, my one "problem" with the course, was coming down from that "high" and getting back to my "day job". Seriously though, my "fun factor" expectations were met and exceeded!

I remain in *awe* of how much excellent information was covered in one weekend. Not to mention the progress I saw and felt in myself in just two days. I had a good laugh over my tape recording of that voice exercise. It was totally fun though, and I feel both encouraged and inspired to continue putting into application everything I learned through the course and from the experience in the sound booth.

A big thank you to everybody at WCS for all the advice that is helping me begin to "get out of my own way" and for the stellar examples of professionalism and integrity. Armed with sound advice like that, how can a person get off to anything but a great start? I especially appreciated what a thorough overview was given from a business perspective. Your course really seemed to incorporate "the big picture".

I enjoyed the opportunity to experiment & play, the incredible amount of information shared, the positive feeling throughout.

The class was very well organized, informative, good size, good instruction, hands-on, etc.
The step-by-step procedure for how to get work was very clear and detailed. Hands-on experience was very valuable - good blend of instruction & hands-on work.

I appreciate the fact that WCS is interested in following up on it's students' progress and helps in that process by sending a sample to the studios.

It was two days of value - not just for voice-over but confidence in public performance.

Excellent evaluations supportive with feedback for improvement which encourages continued participation. Thank you for a great memorable weekend.

Intensive Training for Microphone Performance... Anonymous quotes

Thanks again for the workshop in October. Just 10 days after the weekend class I had my first paid job. I got to be involved in a commercial, working in a group. It was my first voice-over job! It was so fun! Anyway, I plan on putting together my demo within the month and marketing myself.

I just wanted to pass on a thank you and accolade to WCS.
I have done a couple of radio spots at our local radio station here in Olds for the company that I work for. Not that it is a "paying gig" but because of the training and workshops that I have taken through WCS, there is a sense of comfort in front of the mike, being in a studio environment, proper voice, etc. So, anyway, a huge thank you from me.

Excellent experience - class was very supportive of each other as well as Dan. Very positive atmosphere, I felt like I left with incredible knowledge all the while having a lot of fun.

Great course to experiment with untapped skill or energy. Paul brings out this untapped talent using various scripts & feedback.

Very well organized, great teacher. Very good workshop.

There are things that we learned that can be applied to everyday life - not just voice-over.

I enjoyed the high degree of comfort, the friendly atmosphere. What came across was a sincere willingness to help us accomplish what we each wanted.

The workshop was fun, jam packed with great information, and the display of professionalism was first class!

The small group setting makes it so much easier to learn because of the individual attention.

Voice Spotlight Character Development... Anonymous quotes

I learned how to approach the development of characters - what to do, how to get and more.

I wish I had more!

I expected to learn how to develop a character quickly and that I did! Fun class.

The Master's Class... Anonymous quotes

Workshop covered a vast amount of material and was well organized. Moreover students had several opportunities to actually get up and read copy.

From the moment I walked into the workshop until the moment I left I was learning something completely new. I found the workshop to be very challenging and I loved that!

I enjoyed meeting other voice actors, learning new things, challenging myself and improving voice skills.

It is wonderful to have professionals guide others into the field of voice-over. It was worth every penny. I am so pleased and proud of my demo and that is thanks to this workshop and everyone involved. Thanks for everything.

Business & Marketing for Performers...

The marketing course really helped me, and I have been quite busy as a result. This global thing Paul was talking about is true!

I've recently voiced for the re-election campaign for the D.A. in Cleveland. I've done commercials for Barbados, Athens Greece, and a whole whack for the U.S.

Voice Coach Studio Series... Anonymous quotes

A real chance to practice in a very laid back & fun way! Confidence inspiring - makes me want to go further with it!

I enjoyed doing punch-in edits; the video read-along; only 5 other participants was good; the 2 voicer was also fun; treating it like a gig was good.

This is a positive professional environment and I would encourage any of my "Industry" friends to participate in any of your workshops. Doing so would really enhance their own potential.

Reality of the "performances" - real lifework. Frank's* input from his side of the glass wall. Opportunity to work with Frank in his studio.

Really stretched my abilities and learned a lot. Glenn was great and very informative.

I enjoyed working in the music/video - great studio - small class

I found the ongoing feedback, encouragement, direction & professionalism of Mike & Pat** most valuable. Not only that (and then) but the opportunity to learn from listening/watching my "workshop mates". I can't get enough!!!
