Willmott Communication Services was originally founded by Dan Willmott in 1980 as a professional profile management and marketing company. The company has since evolved to Voice Spot WCS and focuses on talent development specifically in the area of voice-over and microphone performance.

Voice Spot WCS/Willmott Communication Services has been running voice-over workshops in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) since 1997. Voice Spot WCS continues to promote professionalism and ethics in the VO industry with professional VO talent - Dan Willmott, Paul Boucher, Jonathan Love and Mariette Sluyter.

Voice Spot WCS runs workshops for small groups interested in pursuing voice-over for themselves. All workshops are held in some of the top audio studios in Calgary, Alberta (Canada). Each class is taught by a professional voice-over talent, experienced in their profession across Canada as well as the United States.

Over the years the workshops have evolved to include more studio involvement enabling voice talent in the area to excel at their craft and  benefit from the evolution of performance.

WCS Facilitators are professional voice-over talents Dan Willmott, Paul Boucher, Jonathan Love, and Mariette Sluyter. All voice-over workshops guarantee hands on microphone and/or studio work. Experienced engineers are on hand working the controls for all studio sessions that are offered during workshops.
