The VoiceSpot WCS Business For Voice Performers class gives an overview of business planning specific to the home-based voice performer.
It includes the principles behind a business plan for your voice career as well as many insights on marketing yourself to the world from wherever you are. This includes plenty of contact information for online agencies, which P2P voice casting sites to use and how to use them effectively, reviews of how to assemble demos and their renewed importance, definite TO-DO’s and a whack (technical term) of DO NOT DO’s as you venture into your voice career.
You’ll get a *realistic* idea of how much time and effort needs to be put in before getting to a “tipping point” where you’re getting as many calls as you’re making.
You’ll also get valuable insights into rates, rate card information specific to the type of work you’ll be getting and how to negotiate your way to a win-win scenario.
